As I have begun setting up my classroom for the 2013-2014 school year, I have been stapling and stapling. One thing that has annoyed me is when you go to staple and nothing comes out. Worse still, is when you are trying to staple fabric to a bulletin board and you have it in the just right spot, only to find out you have to let go because your stapler has run out of staples.
Well the first Fun Fact Friday fact is this...You can color the last few staples with a Sharpie marker prior to putting the staples into the stapler to create your own "warning strip!" Now you will have a warning that your staples are running out, just like a cashier knows that the receipt tape is running out.
